Rates

  • All rates are quoted in South Africa Rand unless specifically instructed otherwise
  • Prices quoted include VAT and tourism levies as appropriate

  • DEPOSITS
  • A deposit of 50% of the full value of the reservation is taken at the time of booking, and the balance is due not more than one month before arrival
  • Bookings are only considered confirmed once payment has been made or valid credit card details have been supplied
  • Please include the Invoice Number/Confirmation Number on any & all bank transfers and payments

  • PAYMENT
  • Credit Card Details supplied by you through our booking system will be used to do a manual transaction on your credit card. Please ensure that the funds are available and the correct amount was deducted from your account.
  • 5% Additional administration fees on all American Express Transactions.
  • Proof of payment for all EFT Deposits must be e-mailed to the guesthouse
  • Please use your INVOICE NUMBER as reference on all your EFT payments
  • Prices include VAT and levies.
  • All prices are subject to change without notice. Bookings already made prior to price changes will remain the same.
  • All rates are quoted in South African Rand and foreign currency payments are accepted at the daily bank rate of exchange valid in South Africa on the date that payment is received.

  • CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME
  • Check in time is between 3pm and 6pm. We politely request that guests make note of this time-frame as early check cannot be guaranteed unless specifically arranged in advance. Please do not arrive at the venue before 3pm as there isn't always a team-member staffing reception

  • Check out : 11h00 No late departures please.

  • Early check-in and late check-out are only available by specific prior arrangement, subject to availability and operational requirements

  • Please return keys & security fobs to reception - there is a charge of R500 for lost keys or gate remotes

  • FAMILIES, CHILDREN AND PETS
  • Families with Children are very welcome in the hotel.
  • A cot or camp bed can be provided, by prior arrangement, for children who share a room with parents/guardians.
  • An additional charge of R500 will be added for children sharing a room with parents
  • We politely remind guests that there is no Lifeguard at the swimming pool - Children under the age of 12 must never be allowed in the pool area, unsupervised

  • Gooding's Groves is a dog-friendly venue - all guests are advised that there are 3 dogs who live in the hotel and have full access to the whole property

  • If bringing your dog to the hotel, we ask owners to ensure their dogs have sufficient water & food at all times and that "mess" in the gardens/grounds is cleaned up immediately

  • Dogs must never be left alone in the property - please plan your trip to ensure your pet can accompany you wherever you go

  • Owners must provide their own bowls, food, mess bags, bedding, leads & collars etc.

  • An additional fee of R250 per dog, per booking will be charged for having pets to stay

  • UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN IN THE MANOR HOUSE.


  • Gooding's Groves Terms and Conditions


      Gooding's Groves Cancellation Policy
      • Only Bookings with PAID DEPOSITS will be considered as CONFIRMED BOOKINGS.
      • Cancellations must be received, in writing to info@goodngsgroves.co.za , at least one month (31 days) before the date of arrival - otherwise the full value of the booking will be charged.
      • Sadly we do not accept payment by American Express
      • Proof of Payment for Bank Transfer (EFT) must be provided by email not less than one month before date of arrival
      • Please use the booking confirmation number in all transactions and correspondence
      • Any bank charges/transfer fees/administrative charges are to be paid by the guest/bookers, not Gooding's Groves
      • All rates are quoted in South African Rand
      • Deposits and payments are refundable, subject to our cancellation policy.
      • 5% Administration Fee applicable on the full booking amount for Refunds.
      • 25% cancellation fee will apply on the full booking amount should cancellation occur between 22 - 30 da ys prior to arrival.
      • A 50 % cancellation fee will apply on the full booking amount should cancellation occur from 15 - 20 days prior to arrival.
      • A 75 % cancellation fee will apply on the full booking amount should cancellation occur from 8 - 14 - 20 days prior to arrival.
      • A 100% cancellation fee will apply on the full booking amount should cancellation occur from 1 to 7 days prior to arrival.
      • In the event of a premature departure or a no show, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.
      • No refunds/chargebacks will be given if requests and/or complaints were not immediately referred to or brought under the at tention of the Manager.
      • Please note that we do not offer credit facilities and the full account must be settled upon arrival
